GTA 3 vs. MAFIA

in my opinion, Mafia has some great premises but ultimately didn't wrap them up. my choice goes to GTA3.

as for the dialogue....it really doesn't matter. everything you need to know is mentioned in the objectives.

if you dont mind cliche story of mafia its great because it offers nothing more.

why cliche? i mean movies, its mixup of mafia and goodfellas which are great movies, but if you wanted to play those mafia games yea it may be great, if gameplay would be good

gta's gameplay is better, longer, but same cliche story with longer plot 

but gta3:vice city is the one with real movie plot. its copy of Scarface, which is one the best movies. though i didnt like gta:vice city  because of its colors and narrow streets, ways.

so i would say gta over mafia.

 I could argue that GTA: VC is also full of 80's cliches but I won't. Of all three GTAs, I only completed SA's storyline. And I own all three. For Mafia, with the exception of the race car level, I enjoyed every mission and must have beaten the game now alteast 4 times. I vote for Mafia.

Obviously Mafia. It's tough and it pi**ed me off back in the day, but my god it's BRILLIANT!

You'll probably want to kill yourself on the race car level though...  =)

i've passed the car level - hmm yeah sometimes i had moments which i could break my screen to pieces - but i've finished that level after 5th try

I liked GTA3 more. Mafia had really good story but the city was dead and that ruined the athmosphere for me.

LOL Mafia? u mean the game with (a black suit man pointing his gun) in the cover. No offence, but this buggy game really

GTA SA = 9.9

Basicly the 4 best PC games of all time.  If you add Xbox then Forza, RalliSport Challenge 2, and Top Spin all get 9.8s.
