I tried the ENB with patch 1.7 from that link and its working fine? I just get some serious lagg.

Like I said, the game will run but you will barely see any effects from the mod. So it's pretty useless with the latest patches.

Nope, the creator said he's sick of making a new version everytime a patch comes out, it's like they're deliberately trying to stop ENB. There is a version for the latest patch but it wont look as good.

Well if you have the Steam version you have to disable autopatching, and after you've made a clean install just manually patch it to 1.0.4.0 (google for it) Then you have to create an off-line GFWL profile so it doesn't update the game.

Looks like an overdose of bump mapping to me and little else. Aliasing still looks horrible. This is far from EPIC.Gooeykat

I disagree. Also, it's a huge slap in the face to Mafia II. As far as I'm concerned, GTA IV is the Sandbox King.

How can I keep my game save-files?

I made a separate installation of windows on one of my alternate drives. I installed GTA IV and applied the ENB mod which I downloaded via some link a user on here provided. I've noticed absolutely no difference. What have I done wrong? I'm dying to get the game to look the way it did in those images.

Use better city textures v2, visual iv looks much better than realityiv I suggest you download that instead. Latest version of visualIV is 1.7.3

I further enhanced this combination of mods by adding Enb series 0.8.2 (config by p1ch3), makes the reflections more realistic (this includes cars and wet surfaces, etc)

New moon and brighter stars also make it look better

Also replaced all 140+ vehicles, added nos, custom handling, triple pedestrian count.

Note: All of this was done on the latest version of EFLC (1.1.2) so if you can't get it to work its not the patch version at fault.

Well, an "ENB Series" logo did not appear on screen. So, what have I done wrong? I extracted the "rar" files to a folder and copied its contents to the corresponding folders in the directory which contains GTA IV.

GTA IV isn't moddable from the get-go, have you installed something to make it moddable?

Also, did you put these highlighted files in the main directory? (where GTAIV.exe is located)

Im looking in my directory and im thinking doesn't he need xlive.dll? Im pretty sure thats the file he needs in order to 'unlock' the game to use mods
