Sounds like your CPU-bound, not the problem with your GTS.SSJBenYeah, this is another thing to think about. You can tell us your system to give us an idea
it gets worse,
i ran company of heroes test in dx9 mode this time, my average was 100fps and max was 180
but when i looked up reveiws the average is 180 and max was 300fps!.....
i also see gts 320meg beating this card...
also.... when i was playing crysis, the frame rates droped below 10 i believe and it stayed there, it also just keeps getting worse and worse.... 1280*1024 no aa high..
i seen youtube video where a guy was using the 320meg version, running the human head tech demo at 1600*1200 2xaa
....
i cant even run it at 1024*768 with 1.5xaa, it runs sooooo choppy, AND i have the "better version".... g92Riki101
I have the EVGA version of the card and it sure handles Crysis better then yours. I play at 1600x1200 with all high and no AA and get somewhere around 30 FPS. You did delete the old drivers before installing the new ones right? That could cause the problem.
Gateway XHD3000? I'd love to have one, but the price tag is more than that of my entire gaming computer! As for the TC, perhaps that Athlon X2 4600+ is holding you back a bit...but you did say that a driver reinstall really helped with your performance. Perhaps you can uninstall the drivers, going so far as to clean them out with a driver-cleaning app, and then reinstall once more to find out if you get a further performance boost or not? (You may also want to try the 169.44 beta drivers to increase Crysis performance.)apparently theres a LCD moniter witha native res of 2560xXXX that actually looks good at non native res
might save up for that

I noticed you said you have 3 gigs of ram. What kind of configuration is that? If that's 3x 1-gig sticks, wouldn't that mean dual channel mode is off? Try yanking out a stick and see if your memory bandwidth jumps. Make sure it's the right stick to yank out. The other remaining 2 should be in the same colored slots.
For some reason I have a feeling it may be something other then your GTS card.
Or it could be what they call "canned benchmarks" and in real games you won't get the same FPS (this is what hardocp cries about)X360PS3AMD05

Your complaining your system is cold?

What case, fans, ect do you have?
What are you running your fan at? It is most probably your CPU though. At those reselutions your CPU will hold you back the most so I wouldn't be suprised if after a return you see no difference.
[QUOTE="Wesker776"]What CPU do you have?X360PS3AMD054600+ x2 3 gig ram.. drivers installed,
- Your CPU could be bottlenecking your card. For example, Hardware Canucks had their Q6600 at 3.50GHz.
- Your RAM may not be set-up in dual channel mode, which hampers memory bandwidth.
- Your GPU may not be getting all 16 PCIe lanes from the PCIe slot. Download GPU-Z and check the "Bus Interface" tab.

Can I see a screen shot of GPU-Z?
Good luck on the RMA, too.

wow his gt just pooned my gts.. thats it. tomorrow ill be exchanging it, if its the same performance, odd, ill be changing mobo ram and cpu anyway, so we will see... hopefully its not the psuRiki101
You should really stop looking at what other people can do with their cards. You can't compare overclocked cards to stock cards. You also can't compare two different cards with every other part of the system being different. Even cards of the exact same model/manufacture are going to run slightly different. All these videos are absolutely worthless for seeing if your card is good/bad.
That being said, you have basically checked all the other parts of your PC. Hopefully you got XFX or EVGA and the return should be pretty simple and quick.
It'd be great to see a good list of the specs of your system. IE:
CPU (speed and fsb)
RAM (ddr1 or 2? mhz?)
Videocard (8800gts obviously, but G80 or G92 core?)
Motherboard model and chipset
Power supply
Not hard to get those details. Also, do you have any programs running in the background that you either know or don't know about?
