GtX 260 vs 9800GX2???

Ok i want a new graphics card and i've chosen between these two.

Not worried bout price just performance.

I want to at least run COD4 Maxed at 1360x768.

Couldn't you look at ATI or wait for the Fermi?

Lol. The OP would be able to max Crysis at that measly resolution. A 9800GX2/GTX260 is plain overkill.

i stopped hearing the 9800gx2 before a year ! cod is very easy to play at full settings !! , the gtx 260 has better driver support , for a low res. the 9800gx2 starts to compete but on high res. and AA the gtx

a gtx 260 is way better than a gts 250rock_solid

So should i get the 250 ($130) or the 260($210). I just wanna max Cod4, cause thats all i play on my comp.

I'm not an ATI fanboy or anything, but for the TC, a 5770 shouldn't be overlooked, it provides dx11 and could easily max cod4.
