It was an error on their site. Now if you add it to the cart, It's $366.49. Looks like I ordered right in the nick of time. ;)GodLovesDead
Well the EVGA GTX280 SC is still $211

No, it's not. Add it to the cart. Then you'll see it's no longer $211.It was at the time of my post.
I had just bought one before I posted that link.
My friend just bought that. Thanks for the link! The BFG GTX 280 brand is still $221, even when you put it in the cart.

[QUOTE="kaitanuvax"]My friend just bought that. Thanks for the link! It does say on order, which means out of stock with no ETA on when they get more, though. I'm still tempted anyway. Mostly worried that by the time they ship it, prices will have dropped below $220 for whatever reason. :\The BFG GTX 280 brand is still $221, even when you put it in the cart.

On Order = Add 1 or 2 days to processing. And the price has to be a mistake. There's no way they can sell them for that cheap!

Go look at the deals forum threads from every other time Buy.com's thrown a video card on some kind of insane sale - they tended to honor the prices, but it took weeks or months to actually receive the card. Or better yet, try to call the customer service. You will get a call center in India where they will tell you they have no way of checking the stock in the warehouse when you're staring at your order status and it says it's out of stock while you're looking at the item page and it say it is in stock, except this is happening 3 weeks after you ordered your item. :D Still an insane deal though, and worth trying in case they do come through quickly.
No it's not. It's alot better.Aw... I want to get one, but it's worse then my 8800GT SLi.
I wish I had a Hydra motherboard:cry:

WOW THIS MAKES ME SO MAD. I was waiting for the Evga Gtx 260 Core 216 to drop to 200$ for me to grab one and start to build my first rig. And this happens, and by the time i got there all of em were back up to 300$.. I WANNA KILL SOMETHING now....WOWOOWWOOWOW I COULD OF HAD A 280 Now while i wait for the 260 to drop Ill be thinking about how i could of had a 280 for so much cheaper.RedxSniperI just bought a GTX 260 core 216 for $230 a month ago and now i could of had a 280 for less. I feel your pain.
must be some mistake in their pricing system. all prices at the site is now back to normal.bojiang908
It wasn't a pricing mistake. Buy.com even had a "n%" off sticker on the products.
I think they were just clearing way for the new GTX 285s.
I bought a 128GB SSD drive from them for $100 now it is back at $290moab-douglol what don't people realize, they do little sales like this to keep people checking on their website!

Well it worked... I am going to go there every day from now on and check this junk!
Hey people. Post your order statuses. I am hoping they go through for all of you too :) http://img.techpowerup.org/090111/Untitled.png" alt=" " />Merc_Scar
Ghey. I had to shell out $375 for mine a few weeks ago.
I doubt it will go through, you will probably get an email saying it was a mistake and your order cannot be completed.
[QUOTE="kaitanuvax"]I'm assuming Buy.com does this whenever new GPUs come out?moab-dougor when they get a new employee that likes to party. True dat.

I lol'd IRL.
They already sold me the card at the price they advertised. I saw it, I clicked buy, I submitted my payment and shipping info. Any attempt to not sell products at the prices they were clearly advertised at will become a legal issue.hartsickdisciplhate to break it to you, but that isn't going to work ..they might honor it, but if they dont, theres nothing you can do.
