Guess the score....(Benchmark related)

Hello,

I just ordered this computer, it will arrive tomorrow...I was wondering, what benchmark should I use to test it? 3d Mark 06?

Also, I am curious, without overcloking, what should be the score I should get? What is your guess?

gtx 275 is not equal to hd 5870

i have the same system but with a gtx 285 and i get 16553. Mind you my card is not from a sub vendor(evga,xfx, etc) and so it is at nvidia standard clocks which are fairly low.

no hes just a liar. For some reason many people over exaggerate what their system can do. I just lol when a guy with a gts 250 is telling me he can max crysis out with 4aa and 16af with an average of 45 fps.

I got a score of 18,066 with my rig on Windows 7(RTM) on Vantage.

My C2D E8400 at 4.0GHz paired with a 4890 routinely pulled 16K, and with a moderately overclocked i7 it pulled 18K. Considering you have a faster GPU, I wouldn't be surprised if you score 18K or more in 3dMark06.

The first false point of that is that Crysis doesn't support anisotropic filtering. The second one is that he could max it out on a resolution of around 1280x1024.

My stock Phenom II 955 does 15500 with 24xAA on 1680x1050.

lol, people are getting 45k in 3dmark06. The record of 20k was beaten somewhere in 2006. Where do you live?

With 3dMark 06 you will get 19-20k with no overclock on CPU

With overclock you can get in excess of 24k

It cost me 1475 euros , I am from Spain, Madrid...... I consulted many forums and decided that was the best option right now for me..... so tomorrow i will give it a try and let you guys know...3d mark 06 should be around the 16/18 mark according to your predictions, lets see
