So, since the beta signup has been over already, does anyone know when they are going to start sending out e-mails if you got accepted? Or are they already being sent out / finishing sending out? Cause I'm really hoping that I'll get in, but at least I would like to know if it's over already. :P
The invites have not been sent out yet. There is no official date of when it's happening either. I'll post a thread on gamespot the second they go out.
I received the Collector's Edition this morning in the mail. Took a while to install and download the updates but am now playing with my character, pretty good game too. I love the Statue that came with the CE Box, and the graphical novel. Was a good buy imo. /then I woke up.

At first i think no more than 5k This is start of beta. I dont think they are ready for stress test anytime soon nor they open more than 1 server for beta testing.

The developers have said they will need "tens of thousands" of invites for the first beta weekend. They also referred to the beta weekend as a "load test." Make of that what you will.

that normally means they will stress a cut down server with peak hours activity and see if it will say not crash or to ensure gameplay remains smooth. they neglected to do this with gw1 prior to nightfall and ti cost em big time during the waking months on factions launch.
