I have had issues with my comp since i bought it. They say it's because i used 32 bit system instead of 64 bit, because my hardware only works properly on 64 bit. Now is this true ? I mean theese guys are a big company but as i noticed really incompetent since they can't fix up my computer for 3 months. They will install 64 bit system but is it gonna work? I mean i don't want to take my computer home only to find out that's not working again. Thanks for replys.

We need to know what hardware your computer has, or we wont be able to help you. I dont really know of any parts that dont work with 32-bit though... generally, its the other way around.

64 bit should technically give better performance for 64bit hardware, since it can utilise the extra 32 buses (channels for data to travel on the motherboard to/from cpu/ram/etc) at the same time, having 64 bits being used every CPU cycle rather than 32.
But, afaik there is really no actual benefit due to most programs being written/coded for mainly 32 bit systems. Check out this link to see how small the performance gain is.

Standard GTX 260 and Q6600 and 4 gigs of ram. I know that the ram will be like there is three, but no one's had problems on 32 bit right? I knew it they were full of it!

"because my hardware only works properly on 64 bit." They're definitely lying. I'm guessing they're charging you for this service correct? It could also be that they don't know how to fix it so they wanted to trick you into a new OS since that'll "fix" problems in the same way reinstalling Windows would do.

I would go with 64 bit vista as it is faster and uses the ram better.

You also have to take into account the software compatibility with 64 OS'es as some programs haven't been ported to that platform.

Well when i play some games (not all) the screen freezes and it shows some green or purple color. It produces bleeping sound from the speakers and i have to restart computer. And i live in Europe Macedonia to be exact and there is no point in telling what company i bought it from.

Thanks for all the responses. Before they phoned me and told me Windows was the problem they offered to replace GTX 280 for free. Was real happy.

Has nothing to do with your OS, though I would recommend 64bit either way. Probably your videocard, but low chance your power supply.

It doesn't matter much. I'm using 32bit OS and I haven't had a problem with it. It is fine for my requirements at the moment.

Specs in sig.

64bit lets you use all 4gb ram 32 supports a maximum of 4gb including vram and any other memory.
