Half Life 2: Why can't I see "ACHIEVEMENTS" on the menu?

I bought orange box.

I have achievements on portal and ep2

I already had Half Life 2and signed in hence i let it update.

Is the problem that the "1 Gift" HL2 sitting in my account untouched is the only one with the unlockable achievements in?

HL2 does have achievements as well, but only on the 360 version packaged with the Orange Box.

They haven't put achievements in yet, relax.mikemil828

Nor will they, the Orange Box doesn't have GFW Live integrated.

Achievements do nothing, think of them as something else to do when you play through the game. Of course I worry about the diiection of some of the achievements forcing very different play styles.

I also don't think achievements will be added to hl2 or ep1
