Halo = Best multiplayer game ever but will it ever get a duplicate for the pc?

I love watching halo reach fails but i got a pc so no halo for me.

Its not the multiplayer aspect of ahlo that i love its that so many funny things can happen.

Call of Duty and other multiplayer games usually go for the realistic aspect so its not as funny as halo.

Im just wandering if there are any multiplayer games like Halo on the PC that are good and funny at the same time.

And man i hope someone decides PC and PS3 players are ready for halo make one.

I know what you mean OP, Halo has a very unique and compelling MP component. And no, there is no exact parallel on PC. TF2 is good for team games, but lacks mission variety. Unreal Tournament III has a lot of the same components (lots of very different weapons, big maps with vehicles, lots of different gametypes) but if you really want Halo you're going to need a 360 :P

its all about your perspective..

halo is an arena shooter and tbh ut3 is where it rips its mp from.. its certainly more asthetically pleasing that UT3 which is probably why folks dont play UT3 over halo but halo's mp is a clear rip off of ut3

I would put Halo multiplayer near the bottom of my list of good multiplayer games to be honest.

Sorry guys I meant to say whatever I said only with "This is my opinion" at the end and that im not a specialist in these matters so dont take it seriously.

Starcraft became a national sport in places....just sayin'.

halo 1 and 2 are on pc, and the gameplay hasnt changed at all since then so knock yourself out.

People still play Halo 1 on PC

Why all the halo hate? It may be popular, but it's still a great game. I like TF2 better, but it's probably in my top 5 multiplayer games this gen.

Halo isn't the best... But it is a fantastic game and I wouldn't mind if all the games came on pc, just as long as they have LAN co-op How hard is that to really implement in the game, when it already had something so close in it to begin with (looks at Halo 1 on pc)

Halo was made for consoles because, before then, there really was not a good console FPS. Which is what made Halo so good. There have been PC FPSs faaaaaaaaaaaarrrr before Halo. Which is probably why Halo is not well received within the PC gaming community, because it only does things that PC games have been doing for many years before hand.

How so? It has a good assortment of weapons, is balanced except for armor lock, and has more modes than most games.
