hardware gaming room temperatures

i currently own all three next gen systems

i have my living room and bedroom in a half developed basment, meaning drywall and all are up but not finishe, so its a bit cool down there. my 360 always seems to stall and freeze up on game, the wii and ps3 have no problbems at all.  could the temp of the room effect the 360 and the freezing?
