So the PC version of Conviction got a pretty rough review on gamespot for being buggy. My question is, has it been fixed? It's only $15 on Amazon so I'm considering getting it, but not sure if it's worth it. What do you think?

Also, how is Torchlight? It looks interesting and for only $5 might be a good deal.

I haven't played it in a month or so but I've played about 6 hours total and haven't run into a single bug or crash.

Yeah I'm not sure what to say here. The game ran terribly until I updated my graphics drivers, but other than that I haven't had many issues. I had a couple problems connecting to UPlay, but they seemed intermittent. Other than that I can't think of anything.. played a bunch of single and lots of co-op and other modes with a friend.

Haven't had problems with it since I bought it a few weeks ago.

They released patches for the game, so I think the problems that other people mentioned might be gone.

I never had any problems with the game since release. Multiplayer matchmaking still sucks thoe, or maybe its because everyone stopped playing the game

Anyway, I reccomend you get a buddy to play the game with. The Co-Op Campaign and side missions ARE the meat of the game.

It's even cheaper on GoGamer.com. $10. Just a heads up TC, and it's retail box.

That's not good. I was about to pick it up for PC. I owned the 360 version at one point but I never finished it. Hmmm.

i didnt have a single issue with it when i first played sc:c but then i tried going back to it three times this past week and each time didnt make it past the main menu; it said connection to the server had been lost and sent me back to the desktop. it was annoying to say the least

Torchlight is a great game, you can try the demo and make your own opinion.

not being able to play a game, that you paid your hard earned £ for, when you want to play it, not because of your own fault but because of a developer's incompetence, is just unacceptable. maybe once you can forgive but on three seperate times over the space of a few days? nope

See, this is exactly what i was talking about. A long time after the release, something may happen and you wont be able to connect to the servers. So you have to contact them and tell them its down and wait for a day or two till they fix the problem so they can check up on you and you are able to contunue the mission you were playing just fine, yesterday. Its stupid. Right now i am playing san andreas. A fairly old game. If it had ubisoft drm and and i was not able to play it right now, i would be furious and do crazy things just to play it. Hell even phone ubisoft's CEO to let him know that it has to be fixed....YESTERDAY!!! This kinda stupid things are killing gaming.....litteraly (since you cant play) Hell they could atleast release a patch that disables the drm by now since its clear that it does not stop piracy.

New 1.04 patch pretty much did nothing to improve the horrible frame rates in this game.
