Having a Half Life 1 Problem

I just installed the first half life game on my PC, but it is giving me a message saying I have almost NO physical memory left, but I checked and I have over 2G of physical memory left!!! WTF IS GOING ON???

Sounds like you have too much running at once on your machine. Try tuning off all apps that you don't need. Also when you launch task manager and click the performance tab, what are you seeing?

Try running in compatibility mode for XP.

THIS. Or even compatibility mode for Windows 98 if that's an option.

lol @ title... 'Having a Half Life 1 Problem' or 'Having a mid-life crysis' ? Anyway, yes it will be just a compatability issue.

Run in Compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2 or SP3 shouldn't matter, then it should work. You can also try Running as Administrator it shouldn't matter tho. If you are using Windows XP then it should run.
