IM GOING TO BUY A GPU IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AND WHICH ON YOU GUYS WOULD GO FOR OUT OF THE 2.

HD2900XT 512MB. The 1GB GDDR4 version isn't worth it, IMO.

Yea I would get HD2900XT just because it doesnt have a wierd ram number... why do the GeForce 8800's have wierd ram numbers?!

Yea I would get HD2900XT just because it doesnt have a wierd ram number... why do the GeForce 8800's have wierd ram numbers?!

:lol: you are right, 320 mb 640mb, its kind of weird, but more twisted would be: "Geforce 8900 GX2 1337mb"

Okay now add 64 to 256MB and see what you get. While you're at it, add 128 to 512 and 256 to 512. :)

Nothing wrong with nVidia setting the memory as 320MB, 640MB, or 768MB.

Me neither , but you would get a GPU with 512mb (or more) if you got a 20" (or bigger) screen.

Yup , it stinks for me too , cos I've got also 22" with 7600GT 256mb.

Although my birthday is in 16 days.. So I'm'a getting a new GPU! Whoo. lol
