this set is true rubbish, the backlight is too high !! and it gets really hot, i put freaking window tint over it for the picture to look good,

You know you can probbly turn down the brightness in the menue or there could be somthing around the TV that will tun it down.

You know you can probbly turn down the brightness in the menue or there could be somthing around the TV that will tun it down.

the tv is rubbish,i turn down the brightness and shadow detail goes down, i turn it up then the dark grey goes to bright grey(black level)

And thats why you stick to the principale brands like Sony, Sharp, Samnsung ect.

I was just looking at this TV thinking hey that seems like a good deal...then I saw it was a Digimate.

lol lesson learned indeed but i im screwed the highest estimate for that set is $450 and i payed $600 and there's no im lossing $150 on a 6mth old set

You can turn down the backlight, no the brightness the backlight. There should be an option for it.

You can turn down the backlight, no the brightness the backlight. There should be an option for it.

A lot of lesser brand screens dont have those sort of options.

If you're on a budget get a vizio. Very good video quality for the price.
