Hey guys, yeah i know this isn't really the right part of the forums for it, but the audio section is getting me no replies. I'm looking for a new headset for gaming and listening to music ( mostly rap, hip hop and techno) so yes that means a headset that has very good bass is a nice plus ;) So im looking in the price range of around 60-80$ and so far i've seen the Razer Carcharias and the Steelseries Siberia V 2. Anyone know which is better, or any that are better for that price range? Thanks in advance.

I had the Razer Carcharies until I moved to the Logitech G35. It was a good headset, but my mic went out on my Razer headset. Though this may not be the case for other with that headset. Razer has some nice stuff, but in my opinion they are a bit too expensive for their quality.

No i did, i just wasnt in the mood to type at that time. Im sorry if it seemed that way. @Steelseries 5v2 . Would you be able to tell me like its pros or cons if u have it?

Check out the Platronics 355 headset I got it for xmas and its pretty good with the bass and the mic is good quality too.

After looking at reviews, alot of people seem to be having problems with it. Thanks tho. Any 1 else have any thoughts on the Siveria v2 /Carcharias or a better headset with that price range?

Mhmm most people use cheap headsets but i have money to spend and have had bad experience with 20 dollar headsets since they break easily or eventually, so that's why im spending quite a bit this time around.

Tritton Universal Gaming Headset is fantastic if you game on more than one format (its what I use now). If not then go with the Steelseries Siberia V2 (I bought the V1s a few months ago :()

Headset =/= music

I would say something like the JVC HARX900 with the Zalman clip on Mic would be better.

If you can't order from the web and you live in America then Best Buy has great headsets.

Hey :) Haven't seen you in a pretty long time. Yeah, i've decided to keep it till summer so after my job is done i use the money and get a i9/GTX300 rig and sell this one :) How's your building adventure coming along?
