Hellgate:London demo freaking me out.

I don't get the Hellgate:London demo... it just suddenly stops. Not like, "Hey! You finished the demo!" but rather leaves you hanging in the game like you are retarded and can't figure out what you are supposed to do.... or am I being retarded. lol. I did all the zones it would let me and the quests and it is acting like I'm supposed to be doing something else? I'm guess I'm used to there being some sort of clear defination of what the demo limitation or ending is.

Ehhh, I was really disappointed (Bysounds, Level/terrain, etc). It was my MUST BUY game - now, its like nothing. Decent game, but not enough to make me buy it

most of the people judging it to be mediocre are what we in the industry call "stupid"

the game plays just like diablo 2, only in 3D - anyone who liked diablo 2 has every reason to like hellgate

the real problem with a demo for a game like this is the early levels suck - you've only got a few enemies to kill, you're wearing rags, you've got no skills - the good stuff with a character development rpg comes from developing your character... and that doesn't happen in three levels

as for the demo itself, yeah - not so hot... giving us a level 1 in the early stages of the game was an obvious move for a demo, but it's also a poor representation of the game and doesn't really allow us to judge the way the game plays properly... we can only really judge the gameplay mechanics and technical aspects

if you like diablo 2, you have every reason to buy hellgate, unless you have a problem with 3D games or passionately hate london
