When i bought Orange Box, Can't i install it from the disc? Because my download speed is kinda of low. Cause i was going to buy Left 4 Dead, But if have to download it via steam i won't. I'm alright with playing it on steam but not alright with the "Buy the Disc, then Download it from steam."

It should install from the disc, sure it's not downloading updates?

There probably is but when I first DL'ed it I think it automatically did virtual... maybe I overlooked an option or something though, I don't know

Oh, Maybe your right it's just update. Thanks. Do i need updates to play offline?

No since there isn't a way for steam to check online if your game needs more updates.

I don't want my laptop to overheat D:

if your laptop overheats while steam updates your game, how will you make sure it doesn't overheat while actually playing the game?

Yeah... I was thinking the same thing. If his laptop has that bad of heat issues, he needs one of those cooling pads with fans or something.
