I am thinking of getting a h55 ($55), h60 ($65), h80i ($90), or h100i ($110) for overclocking to maybe 4.3 to 4.6 ghz. The reviews on these coolers seem to have different opinions on each cooler, so before making a purchase wanted some opinions. If I would get a h55/h60 I would buy another fan (or 2 if recommended) to go with it. This would obviously come out to the same price as the h80i, which is supposed to have better performance than the other two coolers and already includes 2 fans. If I got the h80 and the stock fans are not that great I can get buy different pair of fans in a month or 2. Then there is the H100i which would probablly be best if I eventually got 4 fans, but that would take up a lot of room in my 500r and be kind of pricey. Also, I would have to wait a little longer to buy the h100i and even longer to get new fans if necessary. If there are any other watercoolers you recommend please do, just I would prefer not to get an aircooler.

H80i is thicker than H60, so will perform better than a H60 with push/pull. Thin radiators like the H100i see insignificant gains from push+pull configs.

On another note, I use an H60 with push and pull and I get 4.5GHz without going above 75C-78C, but summer is coming up so I might have to pull back.

500R can fit a H110, so that's another option.

The big problem I have with h100i and h110 are that I will probably not do a push/pull setup, but am I really missing much without push/pull? Also the h100i and h110 are same price which is the better value.

As I said before, the thin rads (H110, H100i, H60, etc) don't benefit much at all from push+pull configs. H110 does perform a bit better than H100i, so if it's the same price and your case can accommodate it, definitely go for it.

The NZXT x40/x60 is another option.

Just note the RAD is a lot thicker than Corsair's offerings, also don't dwell too much on the case compatibility on NZXT's website, 4 screws holding up the RAD is plenty, if you want, get some fishing line for the middle screws and just loop them over the 20mm holes.

X60 and H110 are essentially the same unit. The only real differences are the fans and the fact that Kraken has lighting and fan control (this could be a pro or a con depending on how you want to connect your fans (for me, it would have just meant more useless cables)). Other than that, the H110 has a 5 year warranty (vs 1 or 2 year on Kraken) and is a tiny bit cheaper. Once they've got the same fans on them, they perform the same, so it comes down to whether you want longer warranty or fan control software.

Lighting is independent, being that you don't have to connect the cable, same with fan control, the software won't install on W8 right now so I've just got essentially the CPU 3 pin connected.

NZXT states it has a 2yr warranty and I agree with that, except that CPL (Australia) have got a sticker on the box which states +2yrs additional warranty, so I don't know if thats the shop's warranty or NZXT.

Also I believe the H110 always runs at full tilt, at 35db, the x60 can be regulated by the software or your motherboard software (21-37db), thats if you care about noise.

If you want 4.6Ghz then you'll likely need h80i, I have the H60 and while it's good I was hitting 60 degrees Celsius and 70+ under load at 4.5Ghz, thought I had it mounted improperly or I have a hot chip but just turned out I was expecting too much, so pulled it back to 4.1Ghz and it's quite happy never going over about 55 degrees under stress.
