so i came home from school and my pc wont turn on, it was fine the night before. when i push the power button it makes the noises and beeps once like normal but nothing on screen, and i have tried using differant screens so its not that.

but when i usualy turn it on the fans spin realy fast then slow down and the mobo screen comes up (pres tab to bla bla) but now the fans just keep spinning... im so angry because my GCSE cource work has to be in on friday.

(a GCSE is realy important school work if you didn't know)

Emmmm.... could it be your video? Do you use a video card? Try to take it out and switch it to the onboard video.

it sounds like it could be your graphics card or motherboard if your motherboard has a VGA connector try connecting it to that

Might be your PSU, especially since you upgraded your video card.

Sounds like it's your graphics card. It might be broken or overheating.

It sounds like some sort of overheating. But whatever happens don't get to worked up, I know how stressful GCSEs can get and you generaly have a little longer to do it in than they tell you.

Having someone look at the computer is probably the best thing you can do. There are a lot of reasons why a computer won't boot up, and you probably need to open the case and mess with the parts as part of the troubleshooting process. Let a pro do it in person is the best solution.
