First person, action, strategy. You play the general of an army in the time about the 18th century. The weapons is these old rifles you used back then you know. When you dont fought in battles you controled your army around a map to take over fords make war or alliances with other countries.

A first person shooter in the Napoleonic Age with Muskets? Wow, that's a rarity! As far as I know there are only 6 FPS games with Muskets that take place in the 19th century: 1. The History Channel: Civil War - A Nation Divided 2. The History Channel: Birth of a Nation 3. Darkest of Days 4. The Battle Grounds 1 (a Half-Life mod) 5. The Battle Grounds 2 (a Half-Life 2 mod) 6. Gods and Generals (an absolutely horrendous game)

Its more like Empire total war, you can just play as the general or one of the men in the army when they fight in battles.

So it's not a straight-up FPS? Well, that makes things more complicated, because there are a lot of strategy games that take place in the 19th century. My bet is on Imperial Glory. But, just in case, here is a link to a website that catalogues 87 games that feature Muskets: http://www.giantbomb.com/musket/93-1208/games/ Maybe you'll find the game you're looking for there. Let me know if it helped you.

Well, listen. You don't have to give up the search, I can help you find it, but I'll need more information than what you have currently given here. Here are some questions that will hopefully help me to find out which game you're talking about: 1. On what Operating System did you play it? (DOS? Windows?) 2. Can you give an estimate for the year this game was released or when you played it? 3. What are the exact genres it belongs to? (FPS? RTS? Turn-Based Strategy? Wargame? Action-Adventure? A combination of 2 genres?) 4. What is the game's perspective? (First Person? Third Person? Isometric? Top-Down? A combination of 2 perspectives?) 5. Can you please give more information on the setting of the game and the general gameplay? 6. Do you remember anything specific or unique or something that makes it stand out from other games in the genre? The information you provide needs to be as accurate and as detailed as possible. Don't give up just yet, we can figure it out. My knowledge of video gaming is very expansive, but I still need detailed and accurate information to give you an accurate answer.

No' 6 has to be the thing that would reveal the title's name - but to be honest I didn't play anything like it - perhaps Savage?

No it aint savage :) hmm i dont know what could reveal the title. its about the 18th - 19th century, you are leading a countrie to war against other in europe, instead of controling the hole army you are a part of it. there isn't so much more to tell actually.

Boy oh boy, this is a tough one! I still don't have a definitive answer, but after researching this for a while, I've been able to make a shortlist of games where your game surely appears in. It has to be one of the following games: Strength & Honour War and Peace: 1796 - 1815 The History Channel: Civil War - Great Battles The History Channel: Civil War - A Nation Divided Imperial Glory Napoleon: Total War Rise of Nations Rise of Nations: Thrones & Patriots Cossacks: European Wars Cossacks: The Art of War Cossacks: Back to War Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars Cossacks II: Battle for Europe American Conquest American Conquest: Fight Back American Conquest: Divided Nation The History Channel - Civil War: The Battle of Bull Run - Take Command: 1861 American Civil War: Take Command - 2nd Manassas Waterloo: Napoleon's Last Battle Austerlitz: Napoleon's Greatest Victory Gettysburg: Civil War Battles If it's not one of these, then I can't really help you. I went through literally close to a thousand games that meet some of the parameters you've indicated and this is the definitive shortlist which I've come up with. Try to research those games in GameSpot, MobyGames, YouTube and of course, Google. Then get back to us. It has to be one of the games on the above list.
