Dual hardrives simply means that there is 2 inside the computer one as a master and one as a slave. And I dont quite understand what you mean by optimize them, because it is really no way to do so. But they will work like that 1 hard drive is the C: and 1 is the D: there is no difference than a 320gb hardrive cut in half.
Was i clear enough because i think i was a bit vague aswell.
Hope it helped ya out tho
Actually, when you have 2 HDD you can set them up in a RAID.Dual hardrives simply means that there is 2 inside the computer one as a master and one as a slave. The most popular amongst gamers is RAID 0, which allows both HDD to work together, by splitting, then saving things in each hard drive. This greatly speeds up your Hard Drive related tasks, like loading, because this way both hard drives are working independently to accomplish the same task.
Another popular RAID set up is RAID 1, which basically coppies everything in your first HDD to your second one, so if one fails, the other one is ready to take over.
Theres also more but I dont really understand them, but either one would probably be better than a master/slave set up.
