Please help me!!! I am new to pc gaming, and recently purchased a comp via cyberpowerpc.com...i know i should have built it myself, but anyways I have a major overheating problem with my motherboard, it is an Asus M2N SLi Deluxe, i have a AMD Phenom 9600 quad core processor which runs fairly cool. THe problem is that i have liquid cooling on my processor and because of the space it takes up in my case i dont have room for a side fan...i realize that my problem may be solved by getting a few more fans for it becuase right now all it has is the PSU exhaust fan and its a real mess.....any suggestions, thanks in advance...

p.s. becuase of the overheating i cannot put my side pannel on the tower, instead i have a house fan blowing air into the case, i realize this is extremly ghetto and prolly bad for my pc but it was a quick , not long term solution....the motherboard temp is at 95F when running games with the house fan...115F with the side pannel on...specs also include 2gb buffalo select ram, 320gb hdd, 2 xfx 8600gts xxx 256mb graphics cards, just incase you need to know

Contact the manufacturer of the PC you purchased.

Those temps sound fine to me and isn't the point of liquid cooling to not run fans?....................:|

That's slightly warm, but far from alarming as far as temperatures go.

What kind of crappy liquid cooling do you have that doesn't include your northbridge anyway? Some dodgy little Thermaltake/Corsair pre-built setup that costs four times as much as a decent air cooler despite performing worse and being louder?

45c (and do use Celcuis, nobody used Fahrenheit for computer temps) is rather warm for a chipset, but not insanely hot. Fixing it is up to you and your computer skill. If you can remove your northbridge heatsink and re-apply some thermal paste, that would be your best and easiest bet. Or you could buy a chipset cooler for your northbridge and hook it into your loop. Or you could just buy a little 40mm or 60mm fan for your chipset and cool it that way.

And why on earth did you buy two 8600GTS cards?

Eh, that's CyberpowerPC for you I guess.

Well im really noob with computers and it sounded like a good deal at the time, but as the days go by after my purchase it seems to have more and more problems. I believe I will be returning the whole system and starting from scratch, thats if they take it back....the way things have went so far I wont be surprised if they give me some B.S. reason not to return it.....and sorry I dont have a digital camera to take pictures but its a Raidmax Sagitta II case, no side fan.

Well, maybe but if you want to get the best cooling then you need some fans to move some air insude your case. Dont forget also for the radiator's fans as well

Contact the manufacter and return the whole rig. Putting bandaides on this is NOT worth it. Plus , once you return it let us know and we'll get you a better PC for the same or lower price.
