Friends, I bought a brand computer which is ACER Aspire X3810 last week. And I'm a gamer for WOW. But the graphic card of this computer is not good, it is Integrated graphics, so I want to add a Independent Graphics. Some hardware information below: CPU: Inter Core 2 Duo E7400 Main board: Acer WG43M (Chipset: Inter P45/P43) Graphic card: Inter G45/G43 Express Chipset Memory: Kingston DDR3 1333H MHz 2GB x 2 I've asked friend today, he told me to add the graphic card ATI 4850 of 4870... But I'm not sure. Because I bought a brand computer, so i had not opened the chassis... So I don't know if I can put the 4850/4870 in the chassis. You're going to have to do it sooner or later - how do you expect to upgrade the video card otherwise?
I did a quick search on the x3810 and looks like it is a small form-factor (SFF) system. You are going to have to find a "low-profile" or "low-profile ready" PCI-express video card. Newegg can help you by allowing you to specify low-pro or low-pro ready video cards.
If u want to put in a 4850/4870 your probably gonna have to get a new PSU, because prebuilt pc's usually don't come with that great of a PSU, i personally would recommend this PSU. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139003

14amps... is all you're showing for a single 12V rail. An 8600GT is about all I'd venture to try with something that weak.... That is.. .if you even have a slot for a video card, PCI-e or AGP....

Well to begin with your going to need a low profile video card because of your case. Secondly you need to look at how many watts your power supply is pumping out, although because iam not expecting it to be much so your options are probably very limited.

judging by the pics u have showed us it looks like u wont be able to fit much in there, low profile cards are pretty spendy u should buy a new case (if u can swap out the parts and put them in) and a new PSU u could fit a 4850/4870 fine
Well...it is said....If I do not care about the appearance of the computer...I can change a new PSU and let it outside the chassis, than I can add the 4850 or 4870 for this computer? Another approach is add a low-pro video card and I need not change the PSU?
I find a slot on the main board...but I don't know if it's a PCI-E slot or not... I've checked by Everest, but it didn't find the motherboard physical information...so...I am very confused.. And my friend said, this is the motherboard of G45, there will be a PCI-E slot. But I'm not sure if it is true or not..
