How can I copy a rented movie onto a bland dvd ?

I have a laptop that lets me watch dvd movies, and I could also burn video files from my hardrive onto a blank dvd.

But there is no simple step for me to copy a dvd movie that I rented !? ( There is no option to let me put the dvd movie file onto my hardrive )

I have a Vista laptop with the latest version of Windows Media Player. What additional software do I need to purchase ?

I'm pretty sure "renting" a movie then making a copy of it is illegal.K_r_a_u_s_e_r

yeah no ones going to comercially SELL programs to illegally make copies of rentals.
