Dude, I never get time to play. I just built my new computer two weeks ago and I havn't even played a single game on it. I have about 15 new games like Crysis and Oblivion (I just got these two when I built my computer), and I havn't even touched them yet. Ya I have NO time. It is 12:30 right now and I still got an hour more homework to do. And dude I really doubt there are a lot of elementary/middle school kids on here.
HOLY CRAP, LOOKING BACK AT MY SPELLING IT LOOKS LIKE I'M DRUNK!
i was just wondering for the college students out there and the high school students who take tough courses, do you guys ever get time to play? i only play during weekends for only 2 hours on a saturday. im so busy with school i cant imagine when some people say they play 10 hours a week. are all of you guys middle/ elementary school kids?fighter91
It's called being a business major ;)
I just spent the last two days beating Dead Space. It was amazing.
I must say that as a sophomore in college that yes, it is tough for me to find time to play all the games that I want to. Especially since i run track and have practice for 2 hours everyday :(
My roommate just picked up Fallout 3 on Tuesday night and somehow I have found time to play about 10 hours worth. But within the next few weeks before Thanksgiving im going to be swimming in Tests and Papers. But luckily for me i Have 2 exams next week before the Left 4 Dead Demo comes out Thursday and so I should be good to play to my hearts content that weekend :)
The way I find time though is whenever I have an hour or so before my next class, i will get everything ready and put my backpack next to me on my futon and set my alarm for 5 min before class starts (ya, its a complicated process) and this way I am able to play for a good 45min. Then dinner and practice i play from about 6:30-8:30 i will play and then head to the library, since studying in my room will distract me immensely. So, I am able to find little times during the day, while still being able to do my work sufficiantly.....well for the most part.
I just don't procrastinate on stuff and it frees up a lot of time!crazymaghie123
I try not to procrastinate, but it always ends up happening. Being a math major means always having homework though. I do find right after test days, I can find a few hours in a day to play. I usually only get in a few hours a week to play lately... I have a feeling it will be worse once the real world comes along though, so I'm thankful for what I have now!

Herrick spent many hours playing games during my schooling days. I never took advanced classes, but I did work part time. I had no friends to hang out with (still don't) so I had time to play all those great games. Then I dropped out of school and got a job which freed up even more time because I never had to take the work home with me.
Not procrastinating is key to being able to have a hobby among real life commitments. However, I suck at this, and haven't played but 2 hours of the Force Unleashed in the past 2 weeks. I'm a junior in college and work 20 hrs a week. Maybe I'll have time to game when I retire.
I am a college student and work full time. I am usually able to game about 5-6 hours a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. You just have to manage your time.
I have gamed 12.4 hours the past two weeks according to Steam.

Five or six hours a week? Are you kidding me? Drop out of college and play some more video games man. That's the real way of life; to not get hung up in the common life and let your imagination take you beyond every hardcore porn site on the internet and right into a good ol' RPG.
Come to think of it, I spend just about that amount of time only browsing through porn sites.
nobody can compare to me in squishing time. I am doing intern work full time at a company, had to wake up at 6am to catch the first train, got home at around 8pm(4 hours on the train per day). and had to cook for mself. I also works at a restaurant on Saturday from 11AM to 11PM, including traveling. But i manage to play for at least 10 hours a week.

Sleep? Meh, who needs it? :P
No, I have little time for gaming myself either, at least not nearly as much as I'd like. The weekends are my best opportunity. Browsing forums time to time while at work during the week is do-able, unfortunately gaming would be a tiny bit more difficult to get away with.
im with topic creator. how on earth can anyone get around to playing all the great titles????? and stil maintain a fraction of a life?
im completely full up, and i dont even play rpgs at all, which take hundreds and hundreds of hours! how do you manage it?
i have a week off school this week (almost over :( ) and i would be getting into fc2 and assassins creed, but i have to wait for my gpu to arrive. i refuse to play them on sucky settings. currently replaying gta sa for the 3rd time.
doing digital animation major over here. very busy course but I give myself like 10 minutes of game play, sometimes 3 hours if i get work done fast. Mostly when I play games, I gotta study the character animation and the character personalities itself so I can excel better in my classes. No kidding.mhofever
Cool, you are kind of like me, Always while playing I'm always thinking how I could code that. I'm studying software engineering and I plan to work on the games industry. Maybe one day I'll need a guy who makes the animations for me!

At least you can sleep on the train or study.... unless of course you were to bring a gaming laptop with you!
