How do you boot to bios a new self-built gaming PC?!

I just got a new everything, new case, CPU, motherboard, rams, etc..... I need to BIOS, but first, I have to "boot up" my PC an order to do the bios. But how, where do I get the "bootable disk"? I heard, I can boot with a floppy bootable disk, but where can I get it? Anyone knows?

- Case: Ultra Aluminus 12 bays, 550Watts Power supply, Asus motherboard SLI ready, P4 3.20 Hyper Treading, Ultra CPU fan, 2 Gig rams, Geforce 8600GT, 160G HDD.......

I did hit the F1, it didnt work..... Im gonna try F12 and Del this time......

The Asus's user guide, said everything about bootable floppy disk, and How to create a bootable floppy disk, that is not helping me?!.....it sounds like I need to buy the floopy disk, I did serch, all I found was windows 98 floppy from ebay, should I buy it?

If you're not getting any activity other than the fans spinning, double check all of your connections. On a first time boot, only boot with the bare minimum (CPU, 1 stick of RAM, MOBO, 1 GFX CARD, 1 hard drive, keyboard, mouse, and monitor). If it still doesn't work, take out the battery from the motherboard for a few minutes and pop it back in.battledroid978

I have had trouble booting before with a USB keyboard. Try using a standard PS/2 keyboard.frost_mourne13

Maybe the CPU is bad, but it cant be?

for me to get into BIOS i have to hit F2. F8 is also another common key. right after you turn on the computer just keep hitting F2 or whatever button you think it may be. you might be waiting to long.eitremn

In case you remove the battery from the motherboard, don't forget to put the clear CMOS jumper in the correct position and remove the power plug before doing all that, otherwise your just wasting your time.DirkVDV01
