Where is the link at comfirming this? I wouldn't be all that happy if the game was delayed, as far as the game selling more if they release it next year, are you joking right? The game is going to sell a ton of copies no matter what time they release it, Bioshock 2 won't sell even have of what this game is going to sell.

last i heard some stock market analyst guy SPECULATED that SC2 could get delayed. that is all.

This is correct , it was an analyst that speculated that Starcraft 2 could be delayed due to Activision delaying Singularity to give a breathroom from Modern Warfare 2 . Later on Blizzard entertainment responded by saying that they are still aiming for an 2009 release and a Beta this summer . Hence , there is no official delay!! It's all rumours. Now stop complaining and start twiddle your thumbs waiting for the arrival of the Beta .

that why i keep saying wait till in on the blizzard home website
i think that when they said 09 they meant fiscal 09 which would end on march 31/2010. so they can still easily hit that target if beta starts within the next few months, also remember that starcraft was released on march 31(my birthday :D) in 1998. so no there isn't any delay.......yet, tho i could care less cause theres a good chance that i'll end up going back to brood war anyway.
