How does Startcraft 2 work?

There's 3 different games, I'm assuming each one is for a certain faction? So would you have to buy all 3 to play as each faction?

It's like each expansion = new campaign, you still get each faction to play as on each game (Not sure about online)

each campaign will be separated into 3 expansions, all three races will be available for play on multiplayer and the local custom play.

are you sure? I though they said full multiplayer in terrans and each other wold be just singleplayer. but I could be wrong.

I think it's more like you can play as any one of the three races in multiplayer for each pack, but each pack only has one singleplayer campaign, for only one race.
