I love WoW, but then again I am a casual WoW player. I start to get bored after 30 minutes, and start to go crazy after two hours if its a long session. I really dont see how anyone can be addicted, and if they are then I think WoW is far from the cause of their addiction. Actually, WoW is a symptom of a far great problem imo....crappy parents, lonely life, the list goes on.

But, as for you, youre only level 14. Keep playing, atleast until level 30. I admit that 14-mid 20s is fairly slow from my experience, but a fun and talkative guild really helps it out. And play in spurts, and skip a couple days. This helps to build up a rest bonus. Hell, my policy is to not even play a character unless it has a rest bonus (though at your level the rest bonus doesnt help that much...its better suited for the latter half of leveling).

And play the game as it was intended, as an MMO. The objective of WoW is not to get to level 70 as soon as possible; that is what WoW addicts do. The goal is to socialize and quest with real-world people using online characters. The PvE mechanics of WoW are incredibly fun. Hell, its taken me over two years to get tolevel 64 (took me over two just to get to level 54 before xpansion) and I guarentee you I enjoy myself far more than the guy with five level 70 characters.

So, keep on trucking man, at least until your subscription expires. You owe it to yourself since you shelled out the money for it. If you dont like it, dont renew...it cant be everyone's cup of tea.
