As a kid I used Atari 2600, then got a Commodore 64.
Used that for god-knows how long till IBM clones.
I think it was about 87 or 88 when I got my first PC, it was a 386 with 1 Mb of RAM.
After that just kept using them.
Went to school for Comp Sci. Never really had any interest outside of technology. It's my only marketable skill, I can't seem to do anything else.
Around 2005 I kept hearing "halo halo Xbox Xbox" and I kept ignoring it because I didn't care for consoles.
Dad passed away in 2008.
Bought a 360 to do research and keep myself busy.
Then I started hearing "PS3 is better PS3 is better"
So I bought that for research too and started comparing them.
Tech is tech to me but obviously PC is where I make my money.
I think my experiences have made me more well-rounded as a technologist than a person who only knows Windows.
I'd like to get more into Macs someday and maybe take my career into Unix admin.
