I will be away after the weekend for a while. If I start Stalker now, will i be able to complete it by the weekend? I hate leaving a game unfinished. How long it took you guys to complete the game and in what difficulty level?
It depends on how many quest you do.... if you go only through the main quests in a rush you could make it in 8 hours. But you would get only one of the endings... (oh yes there are 7 different endings, depending on which side quests and decisions you have taken). There is one good ending and that one would take you about 11 hours to get to. (By the way it requires you not to go to where the "wish stone" is, so don't go to sarcophagus)
After all the screwing around and side quests that I've done, I was probably 90% into the game when I decided to start over on a harder difficulty. I was playing on the Stalker difficulty, but I felt it wasn't enough, so I just restarted it last night.
I've put about 20-25 hours into STALKER before I just restarted last night.
I'm sure I could have blown through the game in 9-10 hours, but I don't find it terribly exciting to rush through games.
If you explore alot and do all the side quests then about 30+ hours. I'm on the second to last level or there abouts and have put 56 hours into the game.
