How Much Time Have You Played WoW

This nerd/gaming/social life discussion is very subjective. I have tried it all, and sometimes some alone time gaming is all I need. In fact it sort of saved my life...There was a period where I was going out a lot, using a lot of drugs of all types, travelling the whole world etc...Im a producer of eletronic music, so I lived up most of my early 20's on raves and such. That nearly **** me up for good cause after I while things got too excessive, today I still produce music and play live, but my inner geek have called me back home and now Im enjoying spending my free weekends with my gf, or alone, playing some good RTS and its about as fun as it was when I was travellin around the world to attend psytrance festivals, doing cocaine and lsd while having sex with two strangers

Ok that sex with two strangers was a lie :o

oh and on topic, I have never played a MMO in my life :|

Playing a game for 100 days in hours...over 3 years smart guy. That is really easy to do if you like the game and you raided like I did. Very easy to do and maintain a social life.

Most ppl that play WoW dont have a social life, I have loser friends where that all they do.. You have played the game 2,500 hours, that isnt nearly as bad as the guy who played 4,500 hours..

Seeing how im in school I can talk to ppl in school be friends with them there and then when I want to hang out its "Im playing WoW" or "I got to meet up with my guild at 7 so we can go do a raid".. Like who makes dates over a video game? a loser with no real life.. So maybe my friend might be social at school but out side they just play WoW.. and i went over to one of there houses on New Years and all he did was sit on the computer and play WoW, and watch fireworks over a video game, lmfao... Thats how I know..

My best mate has done pretty much everything in WoW, yet sees his Girlfriend and hangs out regually.

I produced dark progressive Psytrance in some sort of semi professional way ( as In never got a full record deal, but I play live, have released a couple of tracks on compilations etc)

I also produce a lot of ambient, breakbeat, techno and electro for fun, but my main genre was psytrance. Thats the one who leaned me towards the eletronic scene

I use Logic for producing my tracks

I play division 1 Football and Basketball for Wayne High School were one of the top schools in the state last year.. Number 1 defense in the state, 22-4 in basketball.. also play baseball.. So I do do thing besides sit on this forum, and I do have stuff in my life that relates to the outside world..

Yea, 2 hours tends to be the minimum. I introduced my friend to WoW and until recently I saw him on Xfire playing WoW from the moment I got up to the moment I went to sleep. I'd go to work - come back - and see he's still playing. It's nuts.

Said perfectly. Since I've been injured at work a couple weeks ago I've been online a bit more, but 1200 posts in three years is something like a post a day.
