Do you find you have a really large collection, and buy new games every week or so? Or a smaller more refined collection of high quality titles?

I have a smaller, more refined collection of high quality titles.
I don't buy crappy games. Every game I have almost is regarded as a must own by the PC gaming community. However, I only buy games when there are sales. Just doesn't make sense to pay $30+ for a game these days.
However, this small collection is quite large (lolwut) and I do have a huge backlog.
i have a fairly large collection of decent titles.. in all fairness i dont have an actual figure but counting steam and retail alone ive probably spent 1000+ on games not including an ff11 subscription.
ive got quite a beefy set of titles which isnt too shabby for buying mainly retail and nothing over 30 bucks..
ive got easily 30 (PS2, WII, AND GC)console titles, 20 handheld games(GBA & DS), and somewhere im in the area of 75+ pc titles on my shelves in racks like wine :P
actually theres a stupid little grocery store by my place that sells practically new games for under 10 bucks i then trade them in at gamestop for like 30+(in credit) and then go from there.. quite clever hahahaha
no jokes i bought PoP 2009 (ps3(i dont even own one rotfl))back in 2009 and traded it in for 30 bucks of credit and used it on wh40k: dow2 :P
I buy games whenever I think it's going to be good :P
Combining my PC/Ps3/Xbox360 games I easily have over 300 games.
It's pretty insane, my wallet is full of receipts waiting to be turned into games ( SC2 / Civ5 / Gothic 4 ect.. )
This forum is halarious. Everytime theres a steam sale people say the prices suck... games for 5$? I saw some dude saying he wont buy a game anymore because instead of being TWO DOLLARS! it was FIVE! I think of it this way; Usually a good sized game will take 25~40 hours to complete. You also factor is replayability + online if its available devided by the cost. Most games I pruchase cost between 40-70$ Thats an average of a buck fifty of fun per hour. ( thats not even counting the online portion of most games )
A game like Gothic being sold for 5$ is a freaking steal. You can play that game for over 100 hours and not even have done everything yet.
Honestly I don't use steam at all. I buy my games retail. But from what ive seen on these boards rescently... looks like alot of people have become completly spoiled by companies like Steam. Games of quality at 80% discount to me is just ridiculous.
