[QUOTE="ignivim"][QUOTE="FelipeInside"] No, but maybe the power plant where the PC gets the electricity....maybe....???Swiftstrike5
What if it's a nuclear power plant, a wind turbine plant, a dam or a solar power plant?Sigh... That absolutely doesn't matter...
Let's say everybody is using some average amount of power. Wind Turbines and solar plants are built to sustain that average amount of power. If the population suddenly starts leaving on their computers 24/7 then those Turbines and Solar plants can no longer sustain the populations consumption needs.
Don't worry!!! You won't have to bend over to press that button again! Power companies will start burning fossil fuels as a temporary solution to the growing power need, which is quicker and cheaper then constructing another Turbine.
If you want a nuclear power plant in your neighborhood then go ahead (Chernobyl from CoD4).
While we're discussing electricity, it's not more energy efficient to leave lights on when you leave the room (turning on a light equates to about 1/3 of a second run time). So turn off your lights if you're not comming back for awhile.
What if I called them and asked and they said it's only at 30% full capacity?
