....built your first computer?

I'm 16, and I wanna build a better computer but I don't have any moneyz, and my parents aren't gonna buy any parts because they think the computer we have right now is just fine :(

i need a job....

Think I was 19. That was back when computer parts were still pretty high.

I was 15 when I built my first computer, only problem I ran into was a faulty motherboard which took me some time to find out about...besides that it went great and I built another one late last year without any problems at all

if i get into university then it will be my first time doing it this summer :oops:

it was only about 6 months ago, when I was 23.

I've known my way around the innards of a computer since I was about 17 or 18, but my current PC is the first one I've ever actually built from scratch.

Back in 2005 I was 18, I built my first gaming rig which consisted of a Amd 3000+ Athlon 64,2gb and a 6800gs, it even fired up on the first try.

Ahh, I remember Cyrix! I never owned one though.

Sheesh, I suppose I was 28. I built my 2nd at 31. Presently 32.

But hey, how many of you can remember your first Commodor 64, Apple II(c) orIBM 286 :) My 286 had a turbo button that made it go from 16MHz to 33Mhz!!! Crazy Fast!!!

The gaming rig in my system specs below was my very first build just about a year ago at age 55.

16. Possibly the most rewarding experience of my life.

Mine was at 7, and yes my parents supervised, they didn't trust me with a $2500 PC.

Looking back at it, I'm scared now that they even let me. I sometimes think what would have happened if something went wrong or I broke something. I spent a good chunk of my day building it, 6 hrs or so, lol.

When I was about 7 or 8, I disassembled and reassembed the old iMac. But from ground up, 9 years old.

13 (with a little dad's help on coolers and other stuff).

16 went on and build my first own build how ever not as experimanted as my second build in taking part : looking review : and asking lot of people to other advice it sure good to make ur own but there other people who know lot and can come out with suggestion that are wise ;)

17, and I had to manually apply the thermal paste on the CPU. Those were the good ole days...

I had workedon pc's since i was about 12,but i didnt build my first ibm combatible form the ground up until i was like 21,and yes it was a cyrix chip,and for those who don't understand ibm combtible,it used to be a very significat thing,lol
