How's this PC setup? Rate it 1-10

I'll be using this mainly PC for gaming. This is the final build, I've went through so many other configurations, and finally settled on this! I'm going to be using this on a 1440 x 900 monitor. So tell me how good this PC will be in terms of performance. Rate it from 1 to 10. Also, I will be OCing the processor to 3.6 ghz.

ill give it 8/10 cuz you need to know that your motherboard doesnt support 16x16 it only supports 8x8 but a single card does .

second thing your PSU maby just maby it doesnt handle crosfire so you may need another PSU to do so.

Ehh, its 100$ more for maybe a few more fps. The 4870 is only noticably better than the 4850 on higher resolutions... those of which I don't use. The 4870's performance won't beat the 4850 by a noticable amount at a res of 1440 x 900.

At that site, it says the 9800gtx preformed just as good as the 4870 on a resolution around my monitor. Maybe I should just get a 9800gtx? Then again, the 4850 beats the 9800gtx on other tests, so I'm unsure.

the HD 4850 is slightly more powerfull than 9800gtx and even 9800gtx+ .

your only problem is that you have to increase the fan speed manually and thats easy .

Your motherboard is going to give you some issues in the future. You should have went with AMD for your processor. Finally, your graphics card is the biggest problem. Upgrade to a 4870, and try to dual it if you can.

Dont always believe every website and benchmarks. It really depends on your build. The HD4870 is a beast compared to the HD4850. Especially in your case because you have a single GPU setup. But you're better off getting an HD4850 over 9800gtx. Or... just wait for the HD4870x2 for the best single GPU setup.

But yeah, I guess you could go for the HD4850. It's really up to you. I retract my previous score. I rate it an 8.5/10 now.

At 1440x900, the hd4850 is all you need. Best bang for the buck card, and the hd4870 is overkill for that resolution.

Price/Performance: 9.5
