Uplay is my guess. Most of these cdkey stores are selling uplay codes these days when its a ubisoft title. Can it be Steam activated or is it going to use Ubisoft's UPlay?

The Steam version still requires Uplay. Can it be Steam activated or is it going to use Ubisoft's UPlay?

The Steam version still requires Uplay. That is sooo tempting, but I don't want to get Uplay. I already have steam and origin thats enough. Think i'll just wait until it goes under 30 on steam.
EDIT: Thanks for the post though. Love hearing of good deals like this.

Bought this game for full price at my local store a while back. Enjoyed it from start to finish, i've said it before and i'll say it again Far Cry 3 has the best graphics i've seen in a game. Besides modded Crysis of course.
even if you buy the steam version it still comes bundled with uplay. You cant avoid it. Buying it on steam is like double DRM.That is sooo tempting, but I don't want to get Uplay. I already have steam and origin thats enough. Think i'll just wait until it goes under 30 on steam.

I know its double the DRM to get it on Steam but lord knows having another stand alone hub for my games would be annoying. I only accept Origin because its interface isnt bad and it doesnt make it painful to log in and play. Maybe UPlay isnt bad but this is starting to piss me off. Ubi is just playing catch up rather than grow up. Gamesterpheonixthe ubi games that i have that go's through uplay on steam. It is painless, uplay pops up for like 5 seconds then game starts. nothing more
