I had an epiphany

I just realized how great PC games look. I've been playing games on 1280x1024 on high settings, nothing else. No AA, no AF, no maxed textures and it looks much better than consoles already. That's not even taking advantage of my hardware. :)It's good to be back on PC.

i usually never bother with AA unless it automatically on and i play games with max settings at 1280 by 960 and i'm stuck with dx9 so that could be the reason why i don't usually see any difference in what i play

Direct x 9 has nothing to do with graphics quality with Console vs Pc..... May I ask what is your graphics card? This might be the reason you "personally" dont see the differences.

A 7950 X2 , hmm you paid a pretty penny for that back in 2006. Those first dual gpu cards werent all that supported and in some caes a 7900gtx could out do that card. You could pick up a 9600gt or 9800gt for under $100 and get 2-3x the performance.

hence why you dont see that much of a difference, because you aren't maxing the games....youre running them where the consoles run them. hahaha...you should have said this 3 pages ago and your agrument would have been done 4 hours ago.....
