I hate to ask the question, but...

......Looking for an MMORPG. No, no, don't worry, it doesn't have to be a free one. WoW is just extremely boring now to be honest...

Lord of the Rings Online and Tabula Rasa are both good. I'd suggest finding a free trail and seeing if you like them before spending money on them. Also Warhammer Online and Age of Conan will be out soon.thanatose

Yeah, I tried Lord of The Rings Online trial...It was okay, but I didn't like it very much...

I'm very interested in trying Tabula Rasa, but I can't find a trial anywhere. Is there one, or do I have to just buy it and pray for the best?

I will keep an eye out for Warhammer, and maybe Age of Conan.

Consider City of Heroes/City of Villains. This has been a long standing niche MMORPG with a very loyal player base. If what you find frustrating in WoW is tedious tasks (e.g. travel, harvesting) you may enjoy CoX's faster paced, keep players focused on the action philosophy. CoX also has a vastly superior quest (mission) system that dynamically scales most missions to your team size and difficulty preference. Teaming up is easier CoX than WoW, tends to last longer, and because of mission system is way more effective for gameplay and leveling. CoX's ability to customize your character's appearance is the best out there.

CoX also has a long tradition of free updates to the game (vs retail expansions) which they call Issues. They just announced the features of the upcoming Issue 12. Since NCSoft's buyout of the game from the developer they have been increasing the staff and have committed to growing and improving the game. The amount of new stuff in Issue 12 is impressive and they promise to continue that pace in upcoming Issues.

I tried EvE, it's okay, it's a possability. I used to own City of Heroes and villains, but when I had to move, I had to get a new computer, so I thought "No biggie, I'll just download it again", but it got "lost" in transportation and I just gave it up. Guild Wars looks pretty good, but If I'm not mistaken there are three expansions? That's a lot of money, and I don't see why I shouldn't just wait until Guild Wars 2. Tabula Rasa looks like a really good game, but there is no trial...

As for Age of Conan, I'll have to wait and see.
