My hard drive decided to take a sh!t and I lost everything because I decided not to back up everything. I have given up on trying to access my HDD to retrieve some important things (microsoft office, and my game saves). Luckily for me, Steam seems to have saved all my games and the saves, but my problem is that I bought Torchlight 2 directly from Runic games. I went to their site to re-download the game but it says I have to purchase the game. I do have the codes and everything from when I first bought it in my folders section in my email. Does anyone know how I can re-download the game? and does anyone know if my character is lost for good? or does Runic save my character and I can get it back??

You'd need to contact customer support from Runic is my best guess.

This is your best try.

And as far as HDD, you can recover the data from your HDD but it will cost you money, I don't know how much you're going to be charged but if it's that important maybe it's worth it.

Here's a tissue.

Seriously though. Yeah, just contact customer support. As for your HDD, it's quite likely that they'll be able to recover most, if not all of your information at any local computer shop. Just bring it in there, with a new drive to move everything to, and it shouldn't cost very much.
