Since i got my new computer about a year and a half ago it had no graphics card. I am a strong pc gamer and i dont really like it whenever my games lag because they have suck A*S graphics, so todayI got a new graphics card. My computer is an Hp Pavilion and has approx 100gb of memory and close to 250 mb of ram. Suprisinglyim only 13 andI know alot about PCs now. Anyways i got a 6200 NVidia GEforce for 101$ at Best Buy today. Im really kinda happy and my brother is installing it now.Werehaving alot of problems getting it to work and are talking to tech support. i hope it runs good and is worth my money!

Don't get too excited, the 6200 is a very poor graphics card, it is better than intergrated graphics but not by much.

Dude, you could have gotten a 7600 for that price. Return it and get thatinstead. You should also consider getting more system memory. 256mb is just too little for serious gaming. What processor are you running?

He probably doesn't have PCI-E. I think the 7900 was the last Nvidia card that still could be found with agp but that card is $200 for agp.

You got taken, there is no way that the 6200 is worth that amount of money anymore. Also like it was mentioned before, you will want to invest in some more ram. Or ... if possible maybe a new computer all together cause it sounds like yours is probably more than a couple years old.

He may have gotten it a year and a half ago but it has to be older than that. My 2 year old HP came stock with 1gb of ram, and a 250gb hard drive ... which was pretty much the standard on all PC's at that time.

for sum strange reason we had to go back to best buy and exchange it for a 5200 graphics card instead because the 6200 wasnt working. we put the 5200 in the othwer slot the first time and it started working, im very satisfied with the graphics and it only costed me around 85$ but after i read whats hear maybe i kinda got ripped. i have sum kinda celeron procesor id have to check. also im able to rune ut2004 on highest settings with no lag.

Yeah, 5200 for $85 is a really really big rip off. Also, that Celeron processor isn't going to be much help while gaming.

I guess for playing nearly a 4 year old game he's got what he wanted. I thik we'll have to leave it at that.

I can tell you for a fact that a 5200 is NOT better than intigrated graphics. Do yourself a favor and buy a video card from newegg.com. Like this one.
