I am looking into getting a monitor, because I am just using a TV right now, but its not really suitable for gaming. I am looking into getting a monitor that's around 24", but I am only looking to spend around $200. What are the best monitors around right now and what is the best deal I can get?

Asus VE248H-This one looks good.

Acer S230H-This one is cheaper, but still looks good.

Bump your old thread if you still want advice instead of creating a new topic. Of the two there the price speaks for itself, the ASUS is better than the Acer.

I recently bought an LG IPS231P (mainly for the price, HAS, and portrait mode) for 199.99. I know it is not a gaming monitor, but I do not see any ghosting or input lag(I tried it for my main gaming monitor and haven't switched it back to my samsung px2370 yet) and I prefer the colours of the IPS panel. Got it at bestbuy lol... I don't care for FS and BB, but it was the same price as most other places, so figured why not, local returns :)

I am not saying if you purchase this monitor you will not see ghosting/input lag just because I did not.

Personal preference but I'd go with a Dell S2330MX

I posted it in the wrong section, so I thought I would repost it here.

I'm just looking for the best bang for the buck monitor for around $200.
