I'm trying to buy Half Life 1, but it's asking me to login when I try to purchase it. I'm already logged in. I try to input what I think my username and password is, but it doesn't worked. But I'm already logged in, anyway, so what the hell are they looking for? I didn't have to go through this crap when I bought Counter Strike: Complete and Audiosurf.

Yeah this happened to me before too. I closed steam, restarted it and reordered the game. It wants the same user name and password. Some kinda bug or something.

Pretty sure you have to enter in your username and password for verification. I think it's just a safe check measure, it does it to me everytime I want to buy a game even though I'm already logged in. Maybe some people have multiple steam accounts on a computer and they don't want you purchasing a game just in case you're logged into someone else's or something.
