I was wondering if you guys could give me a few positives to becoming a PC gamer

I was wondering what the major and minor advantages are to becoming a PC gamer over an console gamer? I know quite a few, but any are appreciated! :)

Here is a thread I made that states my main reason for loving PC gaming. In it, I basically hint at many other reasons.

I game on PC because it does everything a console can do except it does it a lot better. It also does more things that consoles cant do. Apart from a few console exclusive games theres no reason to own a console. PC gets exclusive games that console only gamers cant play, and more of them too.

While keyboard opens up more features and gives you separate buttons to command , the mouse offers you to have a convinient and precise look with your player. This combination works best for every game and gives you a unique fun.

Well, for one, PC gamers are real gamers. People who play console are... well, let's just say that you're not a racerar driver just because you own a cheap car.

Other than that: the communities are better; you can tweak games (mods etc), you can browse while playing, games look better, run better, feel better. Controls wont give you suicide thoughts, games are cheaper (correct me if I am wrong), and, uh... many more reasons. Except for party gaming with Guitar Hero or Sing Star or whatever, console gaming is horrible. People who play games like BF and MW seriously on a console make me laugh.

Better graphics, better performance, the ability to mod games.

There's no point coming up with positives anymore because everyone's allready mentioned them, but I can tell you a negative. If your a console gamer allready

OK Maybe an overexageration. But I switched to PC gaming around 3 months ago and I'm still really bad at most games. I'm terrible with a mouse and keyboard, even my high end razer stuff doesn't help. I'll get there eventually.... hopefully.

to be fair, people who play farmville on facebook or angry birds on their iphone are gamers. pc gamers may be a bit more hardcore depending on their playtime every week and such, but we're all gamers in the end.
