command and conquer when westwood was making them lolstreetridazEA just insults me with their desperate attempts to rejuvenate a classic but overused style of gameplay, and they then proceed to bastardise its connection with the franchise in the most recent installment.
I would say that the visuals in both games serve their purpose well enough; and that aside I don't think I'd ever want to see anyone other than the same developers or a totally dedicated team of fans attempt a remake. If it was done well, System Shock. :D
longtonguecat
The Age of Empires series
The Age of Mythology seies
The SWAT series
Rainbow Six
And i would really, really like Alan Wake for PC.
While it's not exactly as popular as some other titles, I want to see at least a sequel to Star Wars: Republic Commando. That game was really fun, especially the squad commanding part.
Another series I would like to see get rebooted would be Advent Rising. That was a pretty fun game, despite its flaws.
No One Lives Forever
Heretic
Jedi Knight
Abuse (yes, this 1995 game that was all sorts of awesome)
Freedom Fighters
Mechwarrior/ Mech Commander series
Age of Empires series
Rise of Nations
Empire Earth
Wing Commander/star lancer/Free lancer series
Tie Fighter/X-Wing
Ultima Underworld series
Jedi Knight
No One Lives Forever series
Battle Zone series
Heavy Gear series
MDK series
(just a Few off my head)

[QUOTE="retro82"]How about turn Heroes in Might and Magic into a traditonal RPG?Might & Magic
Jd1680a
lol They are refering to a traditional RPG, the one Heros is based on.
For me:
Might and Magic
Baldur's Gate
Dark Sun (I'm surprised no one has mentioned this one yet, great old school RPGs.)

Dark Sun is a fantastic game...to be honest I really miss most of the games SSI made starting way back to Pool of Radiance. So many great titles...Eye of the Beholder, Stronghold (not the one most of you are thinking of), Dark Sun, Al Qaddim...lots of great game.
Then there's other RPG games like Lands of Lore, Ultima, Betrayal at Krondor, and stuff like that...never get's mentioned on this site. It's always Baldur's Gate, Planescape, ect ad nasuem. Not that they weren't amazing games, but so many great games from the past are forgotten here.
Personally I would like to see any one of the above RPG's remade, or others like:
Syndicate
Magic Carpet
Big Red Racing (1nsane Racing is pretty close, though and fairly recent)
Hexen
Quarantine
Dungeon keeper
the Summoning
might and magic
Original War
Twinson's adventure games
lords of magic
if those could be brought back i'd be a very happy pc gamer.

Oh, I always mention them; in this very topic I mentioned Ravenloft, Lands of Lore and Ultima Underworld.
Of the games you cited the only one I haven't played is Big Red Racing. And I didn't like Syndicate (although I tried, it was considered "cool" at the time; if memory doesn't trick me there was even a sequel), Magic Carpet (1 and 2) and Quarantine (Quarantine was awful; it's that game where you drive a cab, right?).
I'll never forget the final battle in Dark Sun 1. DS 2 had a game-breaking bug here (where you need to activate a fountain or something in order to enter some caves), so I couldn't finish it. This is one of the franchises I would revive too...
Old-school RULES!
