If you could buy just one of the three new games/expansions that blizzard is currently making, WoW: Lich King, Diablo 3, or Starcraft 2, which one would you go pick up tomorrow? And to make it interesting, with whatever game you play there will be plenty of others to play with online, including all of your friends. So lack of people to play with will not make a factor in this thought...

And WHY would you pick that game?

I choose Diablo 3 because Diablo is Blizzard's only IP that doesn't make me vomit with disgust. Diablo makes me vomit with delight.

And that's why I choose Diablo 3.

The reason why I say Starcraft 2 is because it has been 10 years since the last Starcraft game. With Diablo 3, I can wait because it has not been nearly as long and there are already two games in the series. I have been wanting a sequel to this game for the longest time. So if it was available tomorrow I would be willing to spend $100 to $150 for it no question. That is how much I want it.

Diablo 3 because I absolutly love Diablo 2 and LoD. Spent 4 years playing it lol..I took a year break and now I want more!! I want so much more online Diablo :D Hehehehe lets get the US EAST LADDER going :D

I'm waiting for both Starcraft 2 and Diablo III, but I want Diablo III first as it looks simply amazing! But I'm sure Starcraft II will keep me busy and entertained while waiting for it.

Starcraft 2, I don't like the diablos and I already got bored of WoW. I'm not very fond of Starcraft either, but its better than the other 2

Diablo 3 is a legacy, blizzards legacy, and to cut it short would be a dreadful thing to do. oh and one last thing, i am hearing a lot of people saying the game looks like crap, and that its not going to come out till like 2020. 2 things for all you sayings its crap and it plays like crap, keep in mind that they designed it to run on the average joes PC, its meant to look sexy without lagging, even when there are tons of enemies. And they dont even have a release date, give blizzard their sweet time, diablo 2 was a great game for its time, and this will be too.

D3 - Loved Diablo series since D1 came out years ago

WoW, compared to decent mmos like DAoC (in its prime) and EVE is just simply uninspired and a least common denomenator. Its well polished.. but the whole game is a hamster wheel... oh wait 10 more levels... new dungeon... new PvP season (never actually played BC... just from what I hear) so you never have any meaningful impact on the game.

SC2... well I'm sure it will be a fine game, but it doesn't seem to add much to the gameplay other than interface improvements and different units. W3 at least had 4 races, heroes, NPC shops and creeps to make multiplayer and customs much more dynamic.

Yeah I would agree with Diablo personally, Starcraft will be awesome but it just looks so much like the previous SC... Not saying its bad at all but just looks like Diablo will be all new in areas and some characters.

I've been playing the Diablo series ever since the first one came out when I was 8 yrs old. (I'm 20 now) And I've loved every single Diablo game, plus I have been waiting for the day that they would announce the third installment. Don't get me wrong, I love Starcraft too but I've had a history with Diablo for a long time and I'm NOT going to miss out. Hell, I'm buying a whole new computer (I don't own one at the moment) just so that I can play Diablo III, I'm that psyched for it.
