Hi guys. I'm looking for a good video card that is not to pricey. I'm a fulltime college student and have a family so money is kinda tight right now. Any suggestions on which video card I should get? I want to get the most bang for my buck. I'm not looking to get a video card so much for games but rather more for video editing and HD playback. Although I will play games every now and then on it. I don't want to spend more than 100-150$ range. Any suggestions? Thanks sooo much for the help and info guys. I'm really thankful.

If you want good HD playback and stuff, then this is one of the few times where I can actually recommend a lower-end 8 series card, like an 8500 or 8600.

like he said he's not into gaming, so no point getting a 6800ultra. just get a 8500gt it and 8600gt are the best in the market at HD decoding.

Exactly.  Even though they lack in 3D performance, they have great HD video playback capabilities.
