I'm looking for this RPG

I know it's a long shot but I am trying to find a game that I played a few years back. I played it in the mid-90's and lent it to my friend, who lost it. The problem is I don't remember the name at all. What I do know is:

It had a turqoise box

It was an overhead, pixelated game

It was set in medieval times, I believe there was magic

You could join a guild

You could stay at an inn

Like I said I know it's crazy for me to try to find this on such limited information, but if you know of anything that kind of fits this description that was out during the mid-90's, please don't hesitate to let me know! I appreciate any help.

the box for it had a slight turquoisish color on the far left and far right.

Which platform was the game developed on? I suppose you have to remember how you played it, so you can recall the platform?

I was thinking Balder's Gate 2. It's the only game with a slightly turquoise box. Other wise, verything else matches up.

I'm going to say Icewind Dale. I'm pretty sure it has the cover you are thinking of as well as the same setting.

i thought that game came out in 2000. not too sure though. my friend played it after he beat baldurs gate 2 and he thought it was trash.

I know this dousnt come in a box now, but it mightr have used to. Was is Runescape or Stronghold 1? Or was it Civilization 1 or 2?
