crysis is the only reason you need to upgrade your computer. keep the 360 though so you can play halo 3. but seriously dx10 is why pc>360. with dx10 physics and gameplay of pc is untouchable by any console. filmography
PC is untouchable without dx10Â
crysis is the only reason you need to upgrade your computer. keep the 360 though so you can play halo 3. but seriously dx10 is why pc>360. with dx10 physics and gameplay of pc is untouchable by any console. filmographyI swear I'm going to keep saying this until everyone gets it, mainly because I hate the whole PC vs. console debate. The main benefit of DirectX 10 is performance. It has absolutely nothing to do with physics or gameplay. DX10 is designed for a more unified GPU architecture. Essentially, this means that it (theoretically) allows a graphics card to be more efficient in itself and by changing the way it interfaces with the rest of the system. The GPU in the Playstation 2 utilized the same concept. If anything, it's the PC that's finally starting to come around for gaming.
I hate being contrary....but, if you are satisfied with First Person Shooters on the 360 and are not a big RTS fan, I would say you are fine with the 360. My perspective is far different from yours, as I am a dedicated PC user and consoles just drive me crazy. But hey, if you arent driven mad by what you are being offered, and are in fact happy...stay.

all of the games you listed are better on PC.coolmonkeykid
I'd argue both R6 Vegas and the latest Ghost Recons are better on the 360. Especially the Ghost Recons are totally different games on the pc.
Edit: Yes you should upgrade.Â

Fair enough, that's mostly personal preference. But the Ghost Recons are most definitely better on the 360.Â

I agree on the Ghost recons and R6 (heard there are a lot of performance issues with the PC-version), the rest are better on PC. TC, get a new PC/upgrade, you'll have the 360-exclusives (a lot of awesome games coming out in the future) as well as all the great PC-games. Enjoy as many platforms as you can.
BTW, wait a little with the upgrade. Quad-cores will come down in prize this fall and there are some wicked GPU's coming out the in the future. Don't get the first dx10-cards on the market. And wait 'til SP1 comes out, hopefully that will make Vista bug-free. Just enjoy your 360 for now and buy a comp that rips right through Crysis when it comes out. :)
