I just got a 360 for Christmas so I'm not sure if its worth it.I can already play alot of the games I woulda wanted like Call of Duty 2 & 4(Treyarch sucks), Oblivion, F.E.A.R, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games, ect. So I haven't followed PC games much lately so what are some really good exclusive FPS's and WRPG's I should look into? Thanks.

Crysis. No console can perform such feat in terms of graphics and physics there. If there is a port to the 360 then expect it to be like Half Life 2's port to the xbox. Choppy framerates and stuff.

Better gameplay, better multiplayer, better controls, better graphics, more options, modifications...just a few reasons why games are better on PC, even if they have a port on console.

What kind of computer do you have? It might be better to buy a new one(the parts and build it yourself, it's not hard at all). I use to have a 360 but I felt boxed in. No web browswer and you basically are restricted to the matches on Xbox live, which sucks for me. Do NOT get a PC if you're only going to use it for gaming. At least you should use it for browsing and doing research on things. That way you have more than 1 thing to do with all the money you plan on spending. That's what I think anyway. The advantage of the PC remains in it's versatility.

now is a better time than ever to upgrade your PC, PC gaming is coming to it's zenith with games like Bioshock, Hellgate, and Crysis on their way, the future of PC gaming outshines the future of any console. Just look at the advancements in physics and graphics, trust me once you've gone PC you'll never go back.

crysis is the only reason you need to upgrade your computer. keep the 360 though so you can play halo 3. but seriously dx10 is why pc>360. with dx10 physics and gameplay of pc is untouchable by any console.

I swear I'm going to keep saying this until everyone gets it, mainly because I hate the whole PC vs. console debate. The main benefit of DirectX 10 is performance. It has absolutely nothing to do with physics or gameplay. DX10 is designed for a more unified GPU architecture. Essentially, this means that it (theoretically) allows a graphics card to be more efficient in itself and by changing the way it interfaces with the rest of the system. The GPU in the Playstation 2 utilized the same concept. If anything, it's the PC that's finally starting to come around for gaming.

dx10=shader model 4.0. and if dx10 wasn't so critical then why cant the xbox 360 run crysis. It cant even run a dx9 version let alone dx10. also better performance=more stuff that can be done hence how dx10 allows better physics/graphics because it can do more with its efficent architecture.

I hate being contrary....but, if you are satisfied with First Person Shooters on the 360 and are not a big RTS fan, I would say you are fine with the 360.  My perspective is far different from yours, as I am a dedicated PC user and consoles just drive me crazy.  But hey, if you arent driven mad by what you are being offered, and are in fact happy...stay.

I'd argue both R6 Vegas and the latest Ghost Recons are better on the 360. Especially the Ghost Recons are totally different games on the pc.

Edit: Yes you should upgrade.

Fair enough, that's mostly personal preference. But the Ghost Recons are most definitely better on the 360.

I agree on the Ghost recons and R6 (heard there are a lot of performance issues with the PC-version), the rest are better on PC. TC, get a new PC/upgrade, you'll have the 360-exclusives (a lot of awesome games coming out in the future) as well as all the great PC-games. Enjoy as many platforms as you can.

BTW, wait a little with the upgrade. Quad-cores will come down in prize this fall and there are some wicked GPU's coming out the in the future. Don't get the first dx10-cards on the market. And wait 'til SP1 comes out, hopefully that will make Vista bug-free. Just enjoy your 360 for now and buy a comp that rips right through Crysis when it comes out. :)
